"I Thank You, as a Priest, on Behalf of the Universal Church for your Book."

"I went through every single page and in full honesty it is just great. Hidden Axis is more than superclear and straight to the point. Every single paragraph is very rich and full of insights and information...God bless you, Fred Martinez, and I thank you, as a priest, on behalf of the Universal Church for your book." Rev. "Nietzsche's Disciples Included Freud and Jung"

"Nietzsche's Disciples Included Freud and Jung" This book successfully exposes certain aspects of the culture of death both within Church and Society. The first few chapters examine the underlying reason for abortion and what our response ought to be from the president down - that we ought to present women considering abortion with the whole truth, and we ought to give women who are suffering from post abortion trauma every assistance, particularly as they are at risk of considering a second abortion. A fascinating chapter is on Nietzschean psychoanalysis. So many words we use today can be traced back to Nietzsche: charisma, lifestyle and, above all, values. Since, according to Nietzsche, there is no absolute truth, we must be committed to what we feel are values in a meaningless world. Nietzsche's disciples included Freud and Jung. Jungian spirituality has certainly infiltrated the church. Martinez notes that John Walker Lindh became a Muslim after his father divorce...

The Holy God of the Left

The Hidden Axis of Evil By W. J. Rayment "The Hidden of Evil" explains the mind-set of the pro-abortion lobby and the tools used to manipulate the electorate into backing the abortionist agenda. As Fred Martinez points out, there is a vicious cycle. A person who has killed her child by abortion is more likely to continue to support the abortion agenda because she wants to justify her drastic past decisions. To become pro-life is to admit guilt. This issue has inflamed modern Catholicism because it has personally touched so many members of the church. Like divorce, abortion is a fact conveniently side-stepped and often ignored by the American church, even while the Vatican continues to adhere to traditional values. Beyond abortion, Fred Martinez takes on the issue of Gays in the priesthood. The American left-wing press has real problems of credibility on this issue because their agenda has been obvious for so long. For the left-wing media, established religion is anathema bec...

Children's Right to Porn

Children's Right to Porn The California appeals court ruled that libraries must not use computer filters to disallow kids from viewing Internet pornography. A San Jose Mercury News editorial inferred that the First Amendment was invoked so the adult’s right to view porn would not be encroached. One can see the Civil Liberties Union-who won the case- standing with hand over heart as the Constitution upheld this new right. If Internet smutt is authorized why not have smutty magazines lying around the newspaper section. Also, we mustn’t forget the kid’s right to check out dirty magazines and videos. It would never get that far because parents don’t allow their children into porn shops. The libraries funding would soon be voted down. Why aren’t parents angered by library Internet obscenity? It is the same reason abortion is legal while infanticide is not. Babies and dirty magazines can be seen, but babies in the womb and Internet porn usually are unseen by parents. Of course, the media...

Agnostic Scientist becomes President of Legion of Mary Praesidium

Agnostic Scientist becomes President of Legion of Mary Praesidium Joe Navarro is an engineer who has worked with Silicon Valley companies such as Signetics and Exxon Enterprises. He is the president of the Legion of Mary's Blessed Sacrament Praesidium in Santa Clara. Since you were an agnostic and a scientist, what do you say to people who are agnostics and scientists about the Faith? Scientists like to deal with data, information, something they can see, hold or feel; so, when I have to talk to scientists or engineers who don't believe, I give them information; for example, the story of Fatima. There is physical evidence of that miracle -- 70,000 to 100,000 people witnessed it. They call it the "dancing of the sun." The book, Our Lady of Fatima by William Thomas Walsh, contains interviews with people who were eyewitnesses to the miracle. I also give them information on Padre Pio and the historical Blessed Sacrament miracles, and I explain to them what our beliefs ar...

Tough Jesuit

Tough Jesuit Father William Stout says Mass every Sunday at Agnew (hospital for the handicap) Chapel. After Mass, he is surrounded him by people of many nationalities. Father chats and blessing with a natural joy in Spanish, Vietnamese and other tongues. If at any time of day or night you need him -he is there with that same joyfulness. He is a traditional Jesuit Priest whose day job was teaching at the toughest school in Eastside San Jose - Overfelt High. “I wanted to go to the Eastside of San Jose to help the next immigrant people.” Father said, “My family was German and Irish. My brother and I were the first to graduate from college in the family. The Mexicans were the next group of immigrants we ought to help” The Jesuits had hoped to have a Catholic High school in the Eastside of San Jose. But, in 1984 since no Catholic school was build, Father Stout proposed to the Jesuit provincial that he get hired at Overfelt in math- to help the kids from Mexico with problems in English. Teac...

Advice from a Poet, Novelist and Webmaster

Advice from a Poet, Novelist and Webmaster The Highbridge Press published Kathryn Lively’s pro-life novel, Little Flowers, in May with good reviews. She is a now working on a mystery novel. Lively is in the HTML Writers Guild, the Catholic Writers Association(CWA) and the CWA webmaster. Q. What advice would you give to persons wanting to become a writer? A. The best writing advice I ever received came from one of my college professors: if you want to write, just write! I usually supplement this advice with some of my own, namely by advising people to find what works best for them in terms of writing. If a person is comfortable composing directly onto the computer keyboard, that person should write that way. If person is more comfortable either keeping a journal or writing drafts by hand, by all means he should do that. A person can not become a writer unless he makes the time to do it and then actually does it. Q. You have written freelance articles for business magazines, what is the ...

If Clinton was "Our First Black President,” was “Kerry Our First Gay Presidential Candidate“?

If Clinton was "Our First Black President,” was “Kerry Our First Gay Presidential Candidate“? Remember how liberals were saying Bill Clinton was the first black president after a 1998 New Yorker article by Black feminist Toni Morrison who described Clinton as "our first black president. Blacker than any actual person who could ever be elected in our children's lifetime." Might Kerry have been “our first gay presidential candidate.” Gayer than any actual person who could ever be elected in our children's lifetime. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute Executive Director Matt Foreman said "John Kerry and John Edwards make up the most gay-supportive national ticket in American history," according to a CNSNews.com report. The July 7 article said the “Task Force Policy Institute says it has analyzed Sen. John Edwards' positions on 13 issues important to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and found that while Edwards was ...

A winning pro-life strategy

They are judicial activism, medical technology and legislative activity. In follow-up, I now propose a strategy for winning the pro-life debate with a campaign I recently unveiled in San Diego. The new campaign is based on: L.I.F.E. (No apologies, No exceptions) "L" stands for Legislate. That is, legislate our own brand of morality. To do this we must first rebuff the nonsense argument that "we don't legislate morality in this nation." To the contrary, every law is someone's idea of what is right or wrong. The very p...

Steve Mosher's See Coming Victory Over Abortion

Below is a email I recieved from Steve Mosher. Please read it because it is important. I don't want to get into names, but there are some pro-life organizations which I wouldn't donate a penny. Steve's PRI is just the opposite, if you could only donate to one pro-life group that is the one. Fred Abortion may be legal in America, but more and more Americans are choosing life. This shift in attitude will have a positive demographic effect in the years ahead. As more and more Americans choose life, America is shifting towards the Culture of Life. Steven W. Mosher President The Coming Demographic Victory Pro-lifers may be on the defensive in the courtroom, but they are winning the battle of the cradle. The first person to point this out to me was Father Paul Marx. A family sociologist by training, Father had noticed in his travels around the United States that pro-lifers had larger families than the American average. I had observed the same thing. Pro-life events attracted fam...

Psychoanalysis and Idolatry

Psychoanalysis and Idolatry The Western Christian culture was rooted in realism. Realism was the belief in the objectivity of things that are material and spiritual. During the last two century, modernity gave a thumbs down to it’s cultural foundation. Christian realism was rooted out and the foundation was refilled with science- in which reality was contained only within material objects that could be tested. God, love, beauty and free-will were neither material nor testable, so they were not within modernity's reality. The primacy of realistic philosophies such as Thomism and wondrous literature like Shakespeare, then, were dislodged by Pavlovian behaviorism and others scientific studies in colleges and scholarly associations. This cramped reality of only the materially testable led to rootlessness and alienation, which was so unbearable to modern man that there was a reaction. According to Allan Bloom, Friedrich Nietzsche’s antirational and antirealism philosophy as well as lang...

Masturbation, Madhouses and Prisons

Masturbation, Madhouses and Prisons Robert Hale ’s recent statement- that the “... anti-abortion movement is no longer a movement. It’s an industry.”-made me think of a Crisis Pregnancy Center that contradicted his statement. About two years ago, I spoke with its Texan Director who has saved thousands of unborn babies. We spoke of a “Crisis Pregnancy Center” whose top priority-to put it mildly- was not saving as many babies as possible. He said stay away from that center because they are “ spiritual masturbators.” I love new word combinations, so I researched it to see where it would take me. I found masturbation to be a good metaphor for the spiritual direction our society is taking. “The ultimate direction of masturbation always has to be insanity” Norman Mailer said. ” If one has, for example, the image of a beautiful sexy babe in masturbation, one still doesn’t know whether one can make love to her in the flesh. All you know is that you can violate her in the brain...But, if one ha...

Is Our Lady of Guadalupe a Jewish maiden or a Indian Princess?

Is Our Lady of Guadalupe a Jewish maiden or a Indian Princess? Fred, The gentleman you worked with at AFC indicated that her [Our Lady of Guadalupe image] dress and appearance are more appropriate to the Jewish maiden. Wanted to see if there is further documentation on this. Most scholarly works these days do not take this point and so, agreeably, it is difficult to maintain the position without little support. Unless you take GK's text as maxim and law that the majority has rarely, if ever, been in the right. Dear Sir, Have you heard of Dr. Charles Wahlig, the nuclear physicist, who studied the image of OLG as well as the reflection of the images in her eyes of Juan Diego and others. In a 1980's Apostolate for Family Consecration (AFC) video, which I appeared on, Wahlig said that someone had painted OLG a darker complexion such as a Mexican Indian would have over the original image. According to the physicist on examining the image closely OLG had a lighter complexion like a J...

What is the San Francisco VOTF’s Real Agenda?

What is the San Francisco VOTF’s Real Agenda? The pro-gay San Francisco Chronicle recently printed an article about a controversial “Catholic” organization including an email address and phone number on how to get in contact with the group, which the newspaper described as not being “fringe.” The group is Voice of the Faithful (VOTF) that is opposed nationally by Faithful Voice. Spokeswoman for Faithful Voice, Carol McKinley claims the organization is “profoundly” deceptive. “VOTF is controversial as a result of the profound deception of the individuals in leadership and teaching positions. While they deny their affiliation with Call to Action, VOTF's founding members Jan Leary, Fr. Walter Cuenin and others are keynote speakers at the Spring Call to Action Conference, right along with Joanna Manning of "Catholics for Free Choice", an abortion advocacy group,” McKinley said. “In VOTFs meetings with the Bishops, they purport they are "centrist" on the teachings of...

Is VOTF’s Agenda Still “Ultimately, Anti-Catholic?"

Is VOTF’s Agenda Still “Ultimately, Anti-Catholic?" Archbishop John Myers of Newark, N.J. on Oct. 11, 2002 wrote “Voice of the Faithful [VOTF]...has used the current crisis in the Church as a springboard for presenting an agenda that is anti-Church and, ultimately, anti-Catholic.” Myers is considered one of the most pro-life and orthodox members of the American Bishops. When bishop of Peoria, IL, he published a pastoral letter calling it "morally illicit" for Catholics to vote for pro-abortion candidates. In the October column called “A Voice Not Rooted in Faith” printed in the Catholic Advocate, the archdiocesan newspaper of Newark, the Archbishop said that VOTF “has as its purposes: to act as a cover for dissent...and to openly attack the Church hierarchy. Myers wrote: “[A]ltering Church teaching on sexual morality, and defiance of the apostolic authority that has guided the Church since its founding 2,000 years ago by Our Lord Jesus Christ, have all found a place in t...

What is the National Catholic Reporter’s Real Agenda?

What is the National Catholic Reporter’s Real Agenda? On February 20, the National Catholic Reporter (NCR) dissented from definitive Catholic teaching by endorsing homosexual marriage. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered…[and] under no circumstances can they be approved.” The “Catholic” lay operated national newsweekly said, "The ruling by the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts allowing same-sex civil marriage is a beneficial step along the path of human understanding and human rights." As a Special Commentary Columnist for NewsMax during the height of the Catholic scandal in 2002, I first became acquainted with NCR because of the lay-group Voice of the Faithful (VOTF). In the summer of 2002, I received this e-mail from a NewsMax reader: “Could you please direct me to a reliable assessment of the group Voice of the Faithful? A local ‘chapter’ is meeting this afternoon in Nashville, and it has been characterized b...
